On June 9, the Chinese Embassy in Pakistan, together with Xinhua News Agency and the Islamabad Institute of Strategic Studies, jointly hosted a seminar on the theme of "75 Years of Friendship: Seminar on China-Pakistan Joint Contribution to the Global Governance Initiative and the CPEC". Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Jiang Zaidong, Pakistani Minister for Planning, Development, and Special Initiatives Ahsan Iqbal, and Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar attended and delivered speeches. Representatives from various sectors of China and Pakistan participated in the seminar.

Ambassador Jiang Zaidong reviewed recent achievements in high-level exchanges between the two countries and said that China is ready to work with Pakistan to implement the important consensus reached by the leaders of both countries, write a new chapter in the iron-clad friendship, advance both major landmark projects and "small but beautiful" livelihood initiatives, open a new chapter in CPEC development, maintain close coordination on international and regional issues, and enrich the practice of global governance.
Pakistani guests emphasized the enduring and steadfast ironclad friendship between Pakistan and China, praised the GGI as a roadmap for peace in a turbulent world, and expressed their willingness to work with China to advance the construction of the corridor, strengthen multilateral cooperation, implement the global governance initiative, and accelerate the building of an even closer China-Pakistan community with a shared future in the new era.
